The HAM10000 dataset is a publicly available dataset used in the field of case and machine learning for research related to the of skin lesions, particularly for the disclosure of skin cancer. "HAM" stands for "Human Against Machine," the goal of better automatic case diagnoses through machine learning.

About Dataset

The original HAM10000 dataset cannot be easily load in jupyter binder from the source.

Cases include a representative collection of all important symbolic categories in the realm of dusky lesions:

Actinic keratoses and intra cellular diseases/ Bowen’s disease (AKIEC),

basal cell carcinoma (BCC),

benign keratosis-like lesions (solar lentigines / seborrheic keratoses and lichen-planus like keratoses, BKL),

dermatofibroma (DF),

melanoma (MEL),

melanocytic nevi (NV)

vascular lesions (angiomas, angiokeratomas, pyogenic granulomas and hemorrhage, VASC).
